As of June 2021, Spectrum Health and Human Services officially welcomed the Spectrum Education and Training Institute (SETI) to its organization! SETI is an institute designed for behavioral health professionals who are looking to obtain state approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs), professional development, skill and technique growth and more!
What makes SETI stand out from the other continuing education organizations? All of our trainings are interactive, engaging, activity and participation based. We keep trainings to smaller sizes with the promise that all participants are guaranteed to walk away with the knowledge and practice of new skills and techniques in the identified topic area. SETI follows the New York State guidelines for accreditation as we create and facilitate all trainings in house. Presentations are continuously updated to reflect changes in research findings and are designed to reflect adult education and learning theories. Each training will have learning objectives outlined which are educational goals that we strive to reach.
Our trainers are working professionals who are highly experienced in the behavioral health field. Each trainer has dual experience in providing adult education as well! They all strive to not only present on new and engaging material, but how to apply that material to our attendees’ individual roles and job expectations.
