Training Overview
This training focuses on the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and how and why building rapport can yield successful treatment. This interactive training will help human services professionals gain skills to address barriers that present in each stage of the therapeutic relationship. Video and microphone are required.

Educational Goals
Participants will be able to identify:
- 2-3 of the 5-stages of a therapeutic relationship.
- 1-2 techniques to utilize when they encounter a barrier that hinders a client’s progress in treatment.
- at least one tool to foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.
