Team & Morale Building in a Behavioral Health Setting

For all virtual training, a working microphone and video are required for participation and engagement. The Zoom link will be sent 24 hours prior to the start of the training to the email address provided at enrollment.

Training Overview

This training provides insight into understanding the importance of how team morale and team building effects clinical operations, as well as those being treated. We will explore the implications/effects morale can have on team building and productivity. Participants will be encouraged to utilize the information provided in practice, to help enhance and maintain a positive, trauma-informed therapeutic work environment. Video and microphone are required.

Educational Goals

Participants will be able to identify:

  • 1-2 motivational theories to increase employee engagement in the behavioral health setting
  •  1-2 methods from Maslow’s Theory of Motivation to maintain an employee’s job satisfaction
  •  1-2 team building activities that foster positive team morale
  •  1-2 strategies for implementing team building activities with the goal of decreasing staff turnover
