The WNY Chemical Dependency Consortium has announced Dan Galvin, MSW, CRPA, Director of Peer Services and Integration for Spectrum Health has been selected to receive a Gold Key award.

The announcement was made by Matthew G. Smith, Executive Director, Preventionfocus, Inc., Chair, Western New York Chemical Dependency Consortium, Chair, Px21.

The Gold Key award recognizes individuals and groups for exceptional accomplishments and contributions to the local substance use disorder field.

Joining Dan in being honored are Douglas Bisher, Certified Recovery Peer Advocate Addict 2 Addict Niagara, WNY Independent Living; Khristopher Decker, Vice President of Behavioral Health, Evergreen Health; and Rick Laude, Senior Prevention Specialist, Preventionfocus.

The honorees will be recognized at the WNYCDC Annual Awards Luncheon which will take place from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on Fri., Nov. 17 at Classics V, located at 2425 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst, NY 14228.
