Crisis and Re-Stabilization Emergency Services (C.A.R.E.S.)
A crisis is defined as a situation in which a youth’s behavior gets to the point that the parent, caregiver, or other community person feels that the youth may require help in ways they aren’t able to provide and outside assistance is needed. We are available to help, 24/7 by calling 716.882.4357
Our professional team will interview a caregiver and youth to determine what the problems are, and how serious they may be. The goal of the C.A.R.E.S. program is to support families in resolving crisis situations in the home or community and to help prevent future crises. When you call Spectrum C.A.R.E.S. we’ll work with you to develop a plan.

If a youth’s behavior gets to the point that the parent, caregiver, or other community person feels that the youth may require help in ways they aren’t able to provide and outside assistance is needed, we can provide that resource in Buffalo, Erie County, and surrounding areas.
Our CARES team specializes in providing telephonic support and two-person team face to face risk assessment, as needed, and coordinating care with other Spectrum Health programs, other community services, and area hospitals. Anyone who calls to request services from the CARES team will experience helpfulness, professionalism, and commitment to offering the most appropriate and supportive crisis response.
