Interested in working with adolescents, but don’t know where to start? Adolescence is a stage of life that has many different moving parts, which can make it difficult to navigate. This training will explore this stage of life, these moving parts, and associated developmental factors. Participants will become familiar with common mental health diagnoses that occur within this stage as well as techniques and skills that can be utilized in a therapeutic environment. This is an interactive training that provides an opportunity to understand the adolescent population as well as tools that can be utilized to engage adolescents therapeutically.
