Training Overview
New to working with clients diagnosed with a substance use disorder? This training is for you! This training reviews all foundational elements of counseling, treatment planning and engagement for clients using illicit substances.

Educational Goals
Participants will be able to:
- identify 1-2 foundational principles to utilize with clients presenting with substance use patterns
- recognize Substance Use Disorders per the DSM-5 Criteria
- identify at least 2 engagement strategies to use with clients presenting with substance use patterns
