Spectrum Health Journey

EP7 | Spotlight on Kids’ Programs

We’re a month into a new school year and it’s important to keep youth focused, learning, making friends, and having fun, too. It’s not always easy for some kids. Some kids get bullied or have to learn not to be the bully. Other mental wellness diagnoses stand in the way of learning or enjoying life. In this month’s Spectrum Health Journey, hosts Bob and Malene speak with Cedric Holloway about the Omega Mentoring Program for youth in East Buffalo, and Spectrum Health clinician Shanese Mills talks about her work with the Boys & Girls Club and local school districts.
